Acts 29 Prayer Team

Our Mission is to unite together the Body of Christ through prayer ministries, asking God to pour out blessings on this community, as a network of Christians dedicated to intercessory prayer.  Our vision is to raise up a prayer covering over our land, and to let each person who lives here know how much Jesus loves them and wants them to be part of the marvelous work He is doing in this community. The Acts 29 Prayer team meet weekly for Prayer & Fellowship with breakfast on Thursdays, 8:00 A.M. at the Dayton Coffee Shop, 280 Second Avenue in Dayton.

Box 3:16 Ministries

Community Prayer Boxes are placed in local businesses supported by the Acts 29 Prayer Team.  The overall objective of the Box 3:16 Ministry is to win unbelievers to Jesus and glorify God through answered prayer.  Prayer requests from prayer boxes are shared with our Acts 29 Prayer Team of churches and individuals dedicated to intercessory prayer.  Each request is prayed over for 30 days.

Acts 29 Prayerwalkers

Prayerwalking is a ministry of the Acts 29 Prayer Team.  Steve Hawthorne, a leader in the prayer movement has said that "prayerwalking is praying on site with insight." Our prayerwalkers walk our community, praying both silently and aloud for God to pour out blessings for our government, businesses, schools, hospitals, churches and community and around the world.  Jesus is inviting us to walk along with Him, praying for his purposes to be accomplished in fulfilling His mission.

Acts 29 Prayerwalkers are participating in the National Day of Prayerwalk to be held on the first Thursday of May at the Rhea County Court House, and is sponsored by the Dayton Ministerial Association.
